I don’t usually travel to teach my students, but once a week I go out to Tokorozawa in order to teach a large group of older Japanese people. Since it was a such a beautiful day today, I decided to stop at Hibarigaoka Station and walk home. Along the way I visited Jodono Shrine. I am unable to find out much about this shrine except that it was built in 1622 and that it’s supposed to be the guardian of KamiHoya village. If any of you know anything more about this shrine’s history, I’d love it if you could teach me.
