Used to Use Use

Let's talk about 3 ways that we can use the word “Use”. This is not a true story, but take a look at this example sentence from the picture:

I used to use a phone book to find used car dealers.

Can you see the three ways “Use” is applied in this sentence?

The first way is “Used To”. We use “Used To” to talk about things that happened or existed in the past, but don’t happen or exist any more. Here’s a sad example: I used to have hair.

The second way we used “Use” was as a verb to state usage. For example: I use a train to get to work.

Lastly, we used “Use” as an adjective in order to explain that something has been pre-owned.

Your assignment if you choose to accept it is to try and create a sentence that has all three usages of “Use” in it. Can you do it?
